Dear Cousin Jane, you were kinda my idol you know... first, I remember aspiring (and failing) to be a fab lacrosse player...partly your fault haha, because of course both you and Mary were exceptionally talented, not just at Oakdene (where me and Caro also went, later) but for county team too (or even higher maybe?). Then of course there was our piano connection, and I’m eternally grateful for your encouragement when I decided to do my Music Degree at 50.
